Genre/Action Research

 Genre: Action

Action is a genre where action sequences, such as fighting, stunts, car chases or explosions, take precedence over elements like characterization or complex plotting. The action typically involves individual efforts on the part of the hero, in contrast with most war films.

Background research

The action hero's guide is a clever and humorous postiche of action movie cliches- from stock character archetypes to pun-filled wordplay (there's even a few willhelm scrrams thrown in to good measure). Our hero the conviently named Ace Mulligan must stop the bad guys and save the girl before it's to late.

our hero is played by Patrick Wartburton and he is perfectly casted as the cocky badass who can do no wrong.

With each literation of the story, he masterfully poses and snickers for the camera, completly self aware of the role he is expected to fill. As in the cone with all typical Hollywood action movies, we know our leading man can't fall.

Rise:
